Ocean View Amazingness! Enjoy your vacation in one

We had a fantastic vacation and the house was a big part of it! We loved the location, layout and proximity to the beach and village. We also felt that not being a through street, it cut down on car noise and allowed for easy parking. We definitely want to come back. Thank you Kelley!

My parents have stayed at this property many times. This was the first year we stayed for the week. We couldn't have been happier with all the amenities this property has to offer. It is fully stocked with everything: kitchen supplies (including garbage bags, paper towels, cleaning supplies), beach gear (towels, chairs, boogie boards, beach cruisers, umbrellas), plenty of bathroom towels, and shampoo/conditioner/body wash in each bathroom. The master bedroom is so spacious, we wanted to take the closet home with us! The decor is inviting and well maintained (i.e. VERY CLEAN). If you like video games, they have an "old school" sit down arcade game that is for two players and includes: Pacman, Ms. Pacman, Dig Dug, Galaga, Space Invaders, Donkey Kong, and more! The best feature is the amazing view. You can sit anywhere in the family room and have a gorgeous view of the lagoon and the ocean. There are rocking chairs on the patio and you can open the sliding glass doors for the "natural" air conditioning. It is quiet and family friendly. We were within walking distance to the village and the beach. Once there you don't need to drive. It is a great location. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again. Looking forward to our next visit to Carlsbad!

This place is always a winner. Well stocked, clean, modern, and comfy, with fabulous ocean views. Location on the lagoon is quieter than Carlsbad Blvd, and although the walk to the beach is a bit longer, it's still within walking distance and worth it to enjoy the less busy neighborhood.

Great hosts and a lovely place to stay.

This is the third year in a row we have stayed in this rental and my husband is bugging me to reserve it again for next year. We love the view of the waves, the surfers, the beautiful sunsets - even saw a pod of orcas this year! The unit is so well-equipped and so comfortable, it feels like a home away from home. Plus it is so close to the Carlsbad Blvd. beach walk, and an easy walk to downtown Carlsbad with its shops and restaurants. Truly our favorite place to stay when we are visiting family in San Diego and Orange County.
